My name is Niki Ross and I have over ten years of experience as a PA and working in the legal sector. Having gained a vast knowledge of office, administration, legal and IT skills, my aim is to offer my assistance giving a service completely tailored to you to give the best possible support whether you are a business or private individual.

Personal Qualities

I am an extremely conscientious worker and strive to give the best service possible to all of my clients.  I take great interest in the needs of my clients and spend time learning more about their business or personal needs so that I have a good understanding of exactly what they need from me.  Clients can then rely on me to know what needs doing and when and do not have to worry about prompting me – in fact, it is usually me organising them! 

This is where I feel that the service I offer is unique.  Many of the larger VA companies offer call answering and can do the work. However the work is usually dealt with by more than one person.  This does not also necessarily mean that the client’s requirements have been completely understood which leaves the door open to mistakes.  I take pride in building a relationship with my clients so that they completely trust me with their business and personal needs, knowing that I will complete whatever needs doing the way they like it done.  In fact, one of my regular clients refers to me as her guardian angel!

Spending eight years working as PA to the senior partner in a firm of solicitors, I became a qualified paralegal, drawing up wills, trusts and managing probate.  I am happy to provide a reference if required.

At the same time, I updated and refined all office procedures and processes, creating specialised documentation where necessary.

I also audited financial procedures, installing more efficient software and training staff in the use of it.  This resulted in a healthier collection of fees and follow up of outstanding debts.

I am fully competent in the use of many mainstream software programs.

Having a partner and being a mother to teenage twins, I appreciate the importance of maintaining a healthy life/work balance, and incorporate this consideration into my relationship with clients, assisting them to do likewise.

To take advantage of my aptitude for analysing, refining, and updating, building a one to one relationship with the client is essential.  This leads to the transferance of accurate information, allowing for little waste of time and money.
